Gold Dust Day Gecko on Crinum Bloom

A Gold Dust Day Gecko (Phelsuma laticauda) explores the petals of a crinum lily in full bloom. Though not native to Hawaiʻi, this species has become a charismatic resident of tropical gardens across the islands. With its vibrant green body, red markings, and electric blue eye rings, the gecko adds an unexpected flash of color against the waxy leaves and pink stamens of the flower.
