Garden Stare-down

Description

Gold dust day geckos (Phelsuma laticauda) are as curious as they are colorful. This one pauses mid-step on a crinum lily, locked in what looks like a contemplative stare. Native to Madagascar but introduced to Hawaiʻi, these geckos are a familiar flash of green and gold in tropical gardens — often spotted sunbathing, slurping nectar, or just... vibing.
